One can only Imagine why John Lennon sang the song that made the whole world sing and the dissappointed look on my mudder's mug. Writing of mugs, mine's a 'D' mug, high test 103.936% proof, sweet, and light. - Sitting by the Sea

- And let the waves talk to me
- With stories of days gone by
- About seafarers of old and sailors so bold
- And frigate birds high in the sky.

- When our people were free to roam
- The great oceans wide

Those mythical men
We will never see again
And gods that we still call our own
How the world came to be
For people like me

This is a funny side of a story to be able to maintain an internet connection to access the internet, send and receive email. To be able to use a cell telephone. To have electricity full time in a home. To be able to have a land line telephone in order that I may report outages and problems with my internet connections that I cannot report to the internet service provider via the internet because I do not have access to the internet because of frequent service outages as my internet service provider is upgrading their service. How can you upgrade something you do not have? Living on an island in a location that does not have cell telephone towers close to my area of operation means that my cell telephone does not work most of the time...(Can you hear me now?...Noooooo!). Due to extreme heat (which I Love)and high humidity full time electrical service has not been made possible yet. So 'power outages' are normal, common and frequent. Being new to generator service, it does take me longer than most people to 'fire up' the generator, for the purpose of keeping food cold in a refrigerator and run a few fans. Now, since their is no power in the power lines and the transformers, there is no power to my internet service providers power boosters which sends me a signal which allows me internet access
.
I love it. An island with over 400 years of tradition unhampered by progress. You betcha I am going to 'live' on a trawler that will have 24/7 marine radio service... as long as I can remember to keep the boat batteries charged. No big deal.

Fair weather friends are no good in a stormy life. I remember when I cried out a very painful, mental and emotional 'SOS'. My life as I knew it, like fingernails on the chalk board of my life, came to a screeching halt. My life had changed forever. I Thank GOD, he heard me, and sent me SBS. Thank you SBS, VIP, and best friend to me. SBS, thank you for being a 'best of the best' friend and staying by me through the storm of my life. A storm so powerful, it ripped the soul and more out of me. Thanks for the 'glimmer' glass of hope, and so much more that you freely gave to me. I will always remember you were there for me.
